Alger Brook Design Build specializes in high performance new construction homes. To us a high performance home is energy efficient, built using sustainable materials and practices, it is healthy to live in, and delivers an exceptional level of comfort.

In some cases we work directly with the homeowner from initial conception all the way through planning and construction, but we also work with architects who specialize in high performance, energy efficient design. In either case, we love to be involved as early as possible in the process so that we can help homeowners make decisions based on their priorities. We are passionate about building science and all the new materials and practices that have come into play over the last few years, but in every case we strive to bring the highest level of performance that we can within the customer’s budget. We believe very strongly that high performance homes are for everyone, not just those who can afford them, and we also believe that a successful design represents a symbiotic relationship between aesthetics and performance.
