In addition to our work as a general contractor, Alger Brook Design Build also performs insulation and air-tightness work for other contractors as well as directly for homeowners. Alger Brook is a member of Efficiency Vermont’s “Efficiency Excellence Network”, which means our customers can have weatherization work performed on their homes (such as air-sealing, adding insulation, replacing windows, etc.,) and take advantage of up to $3,000 in incentives as well as financing as low as 0% through Efficiency Vermont.

Here are some of the services that Alger Brook Design Build can perform for both general contractors as well as homeowners:

- Air-tightness testing, with the use of a blower door

- Air sealing, ranging from small repair work in the attic or basement to whole-home new construction air sealing strategies

- Dense pack and loose fill cellulose insulation

- Energy efficiency consultation, whether you just need to save a few dollars on your utility bill or you want to re-examine the major systems in your home to make it more comfortable and more efficient
